I have used this to test the true low-end frequency response of the speakers in my car, and it is generally good and serves its purpose well. The things I don't like about this are not to be overlooked. When playing a continuous bass note, the loop is at a lower volume than if you were to do a bass hit. Also, the loop playback has a tendency to "cut" between where the loop ends and where it picks up again. And I kinda wish the frequencies ran a little higher, like up to 165 Hz or something. It only goes as high as 64 Hz on this paid version (and even less options when using the free version), and in order to hear bass that is a higher frequency than that, I have to whip out my dog whistler app, which starts as low as 80 Hz. That's a 16 Hz difference, and a huge jump to a different note. However, this is not a huge deal, and will end up costing less money than an audiophile bass tester CD for when I calibrate my future subwoofer/amplifier setup in my car.
